First off all I would like to thank you for all your support, I really appreciate the comments and the subscribers. Your support keeps me motivated and on track. So thank you reader or/and subscribers or visiting Globally Ghetto. Let’s me introduce you to the outfit. It can be worn as a “casual chic” or “I’m meeting this guy I like” outfit.
I bought the jeans from the American Apparel who declared their bankruptcy. The 19 years old Made in America brand got in a lot of trouble after the economic crash, scandals about immigrants employees with questionable documents and of course the millions of dollars sexual harassment lawsuits against its founder Dov Charney. This all is just awful for the American Apparel employees and victims but good news for my wallet cuz this means: SALE SALE SALE!!! In shops only by the way, the online flagship store is offline.
The blouse is the last item I bought from H&M, I try to avoid buying clothes from fast fashion industries like Zara, Primark and Forever 21 due to the poor quality, child labour and their lack of motivation to at least try to be more environmental friendly despite having the revenue to do so. Instead of that I focus on the small brands. Slow fashion and reusing the clothes that are rotting in my closet like this blouse.
I decided to turn my blouse into a crop blouse. By closing the first 4 buttons and attaching the back with a small elastic I got an interesting fold in the front of the blouse.
The lace coming out of the blouse is a bra with lace. I love this bra’s lace and I think is a shame to hide it.
Funny story about the shoes. I bought the shoes a long time ago and worn it to the XO festival with Preppy Fashionista were we met Major Lazer. I had nothing for them to sign, so I asked Diplo to sign my shoes and he did. So if you are wondering why the heck I drew on my shoes, it was Diplo.
Click on the dots to find similar clothing. For the jeans I suggest you find an American Apparel shop in your neighbourhood.
I was a little bit hesitated to post this outfit, on my bed it looked great but after I saw the picture I started to doubt. I love some part of it, like the lace coming under the blouse and the glasses from OKKI Eyewear. The colours goes together, and the backpack from Sacha has a nice effect, but somehow the whole outfit doesn’t look complete. Maybe its the pants, maybe a ruffled or circle skirt, I don’t know. Maybe you do, what do you think of this outfit? Leave it in the comment section below. Next week post includes the ultimate guide of shopping for heels, hope to see you next week.
